The Eufy RoboVac X8 Hybrid is a complete vacuum and mopping machine making it a great option for those living in a flat with multiple floors. Dual motors provide it with incredible cleaning power, and the vacuum's 0.6l dustbin can store plenty of pet hair. The dustbin can be easily removed and emptied which is great as you'll have to do this regularly.
It's also simple to set up, although I recommend fully charging the X8 Hybrid prior to running it for the very first time. You can label rooms, divide rooms into sub-rooms (good for open-plan living) and direct the X8 Hybrid to specific areas that need cleaning at the time of. Eufy's application is more user-friendly and refined than other robots with similar scanning and mapping functions.
One of the great features of the X8 Hybrid is that you can activate the mop or vacuum using your voice top rated robot vacuum thanks to integration with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. This is a nice feature that makes the robot more hands-free. And it works well in our test home.
The X8 Hybrid, like many robotic vacuums, has a few issues with bare flooring. It is prone to miss pet hair and small objects, and it is prone to hit things, like its own charger that sits on its charging base. It is also not as quiet, and the whirring noise can be distracting as with other models.
Roborock V3S pro
The robot doesn't come with the same features as the more expensive ones we tested, however it does cover the basics. It has a huge enough dust bin to hold plenty of dirt until it's empty, and its vacuum and mop system is great for carpets with low pile and hard floors. It's also super quiet, and we were able to watch TV while it was cleaning without feeling like it was blazing us with the sound.
Our test participants were extremely pleased with how easy the machine was to use and set up. They also appreciated the ability to clean all the messes from their floors. It even did a pretty excellent job of removing pet hair and messes on carpeting, though it was less successful in tackling stubborn stuck-on staining. The app was simple to use and easy to understand. They could program the vacuum to clean frequently to reduce the amount of manual work. The one downside is that it doesn't include any mapping technology or object avoidance, which means you can't send it to specific rooms or follow virtual boundaries (though magnetic boundary strips can be used).

It's also a great budget choice for those looking for an intelligent, self-emptying robotic vacuum that is able to handle hair and pet messes on floors made of hardwood or carpets with a low pile. It's also super quiet and has a huge dust bin that can hold a lot of debris before it's time to empty it and you don't have to worry about regularly emptying it.
The V3S Pro did not make it into any of our top picks lists of trusted sources who test hands-on, but it was praised by Modern Castle, Smart Robot Reviews and The Ambient. The V3S Pro was simple to use and set up, but the battery life was short.
